E. Todd WheelerE. Todd Wheeler, FAIA (1906-1987) was a leading health care architects in the '60's through '70's in the United States, author and a partner, and director of the health facilities division, of the firm of Perkins and Will Partnership. Mr. Wheeler author two major publications on health care planning and design - Hospital Design and Function, and Hospital Modernization and Expansion. Mr. Wheeler pioneered early quantitative analysis of space needs, publishing benchmark area requirements for hospitals based on bed size.
